Nancy Mcbride

Nancy Jean McBride, 68, of Wooster, passed away Friday, August 27, 2021, at home. She was Born July 14, 1953, in New London CT., to the late Walter and Virginia (La Flamme) Andrews. She was raised in Niantic, CT and later moved to Florida.  Nancy was retired and enjoyed spending time with her family as well as traveling. She was an avid cook show enthusiast and loved Grey’s Anatomy.

In addition to her parents Nancy was preceded in death by husband, David Lee McBride; son, Steven Lee McBride and sister, Barbara Broussard.

Surviving are her son, David James McBride of Wooster, OH.; grandson, Hayden Williams McBride of Wooster, OH.; brother, Walter “Butch” (Liz) Andrews of Lecanto Fl.; sisters, Sandra-Lee Jones of Muscatine, Iowa, and Cathy-Sue Andrews of New Port Richey, FL.; niece, Codie Jones (Daughter Payton Jones) of Muscatine, IA; special friend, Thad Hopkins of Muscatine, IA.; former longtime boyfriend, Mike Hammond of Wooster, OH.

There will be no services per Nancy’s wishes. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Lifecare Hospice Staff in Wooster, especially Megan for assisting the family through this difficult time.
