Patrick Jay Riley

Patrick Jay Riley, affectionately known as Pat, passed away on September 2, 2024, at the age of 67, in his hometown of Akron, Ohio.

 Born on February 24, 1957, in Akron, Pat lived a life marked by his warm humor and a love for good times, characteristics that endeared him to many.   Pat had a passion for working on various projects, a hobby that not only filled his time but also brought joy to those around him. His hands were rarely still as he found happiness and fulfillment in the act of creation and repair, a testament to his resourceful and industrious spirit. 

  He leaves behind his loving wife, Deahdra, his son, Seth Riley (Lily), and his daughter, Erin (Dean) Biscan, grandchildren, siblings Tim (Debbie) Riley, Steve Riley, and Kelly Dugan and many nieces and nephews who will miss his playful spirit. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald, and mother, Deloris.  

 As we bid farewell to Pat, we do so with gratitude for the laughter, wisdom, and love he shared so freely. His legacy endures in the stories that will continue to be told by those who knew and loved him. The family extends their heartfelt thanks for your condolences.
