After a prolonged battle with cancer, Peggy Felton, 82, of Alliance, OH, returned to her heavenly home to be reunited with her late husband, Rev. Roger Felton, Sr., on June 10, 2022. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in Jesus supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace.
Peggy was born to the late Nora (Aldridge) Donahoe in 1939. She was blessed with a large and loving family. On March 5, 1960, Peggy married her best friend, Roger, after he served in the Korean war as a medic. Together they raised five children with patience, discipline, and humility in Carrolton, OH.
Peggy graduated from Alliance High School in 1957. She retired from Carrolton Excepted Village Schools. Peggy was an avid reader, often reading a novel per day. She is dearly missed by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her creator.
She is preceded in death by her husband; mother; brother, Terry Aldridge; and sister-in-law, Carol Wyss.
Peggy is survived by her children, Karen (Larry) Felton-Noble of Louisville, Roger Jr. Felton of Alliance, Robin (Kurt) Steiner of Creston, Karla Felton of Alliance, and Mike Felton (Trish Pennock) of Minerva; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; sister, Mary (Larry) Stout Coldwater, Michigan.
Following a private family service, Peggy will be buried at the Highland Memorial Park. There will be no calling hours. Condolences and special memories of Peggy can be shared with her family online at
