Peter Hutnik of Hartville passed away November 4, 2019 at the age of 85. He was born August 14, 1934 in Akron and lived his whole life in Randolph Township, Ohio. It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our beautiful father. He touched many lives with his kindness and generosity. He was a loving and caring family man and a friend to many. He was a dedicated and loyal worker at Teledyne Monarch Rubber Company for 31 years before retiring. He also volunteered his time at the Hartville Thrift Shoppe. His passion was his family, the Hartville Flea Market and the many friends that he had there.
Pete was preceded in death by his wife, Maggie (Barefield); parents, Marko and Julia Hutnik; and brothers, John and Steve.
He is survived by daughters, Mary Ann (Mark) Twark of Chesapeake, Virginia and Linda (David) Gearhart of Suffield; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Hershel (Frances) Barefield of Canton; nephews, Steve (Bonnie) Hutnik of Hartville and Hershel (Denise) Barefield of Mississippi.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at The Homestead at Gentlebrook and Elara Caring Hospice, and close friends, Al Hershberger and Marion Coblentz.
