Peter Lyman, brother of Daniel (Carolyn) of St. Johns FL, Marie Freebird of Efland, NC, Stefanie McAdoo (Fred) of Efland, NC, Thomas (Johnna) of Avon Lake, OH, James (Terri) of Henderson, NV, Andrew (Sandra) of Henderson, NV and Paul (Wendi) of Medina, OH passed away on September 12th at the age of 58.
Pete worked for 30+ years as a machinist/specialist. He was a steam engine enthusiast and history buff. He was member of the Lorain County Steam Engine Association and a regular attendee at the annual LaGrange Engine Show in addition to many other shows and fairs throughout Ohio. Pete was also an avid reader and talented wordsmith. He was a published poet with a passion for bluegrass and his banjo. He participated in many “open mic” events to share his talents. Pete’s other hobbies included planting and sharing flowers, walks in the woods and simply appreciating all the beauty in nature.
Friends and family are invited to Ruby’s Hall, located at 36709 Royalton Road, Grafton OH 44044, on Saturday, October 27th, 2018 from 1-5 pm. There will be a short prayer service from 1-1:30 pm. Condolences can be shared with his family online at https://www.heritagecremationsociety.com/.
