Phillip J. Lane

Phillip J. Lane, 63, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023. Born October 6, 1960, in Alliance, Ohio to Cecil C. and Dorothy (Bourne) Lane Sr. Phil resided in Alliance his entire life. Phil was a 1979 graduate of Marlington High School. He continued his education and  received his BS Degree in 1984 in Electronic Technology from Akron University. Phil continued working for the family business, Snack Bar of Alliance. Phil was most recently employed at Ventra Salem LLC. He owned and operated his own CCW business and a walnut tree plantation in Louisville, Ohio.  Phil enjoyed running, cycling, skiing, rock-climbing, white-water rafting, cars and guns.  

Phil is survived by two nieces,  Toni (husband, Sandy) Dutchak of Texas, and Jean (husband, Chris) Parsons of Massillon, OH; nephew, Jason (wife, Heather) Lane of Alliance, OH. Phil had several great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nephews. Phil is also survived by long-time family friends, Jamie (wife, Heather) Sweitzer and family. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Sr. and Dorothy; brother, Cecil C. Jr. (Bud), and his two furbabies, dogs, Major and Captain.
