Phillip L. Smith

Phillip L. Smith, age 65, of Homeworth, OH passed away peacefully on Sunday, January, 26, 2025 at Aultman Hospital. He was born October 29, 1959 in Canton, OH. He drove semi-truck for a living for 37 years. He loved going deer and turkey hunting. He also enjoyed farming, especially sweet corn. Later on in life, he loved spending extra time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Phil is survived by his wife of 20 years, Cheryl (Rininger) Smith; son, Colton (Christina) Smith; son, Derek (Casey) Smith, step-sons, Thomas and Tyler Anderson; a sister, Susan (Fred) Weber; eight grandchildren that he adored, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Gail and Kathryn (Keszeg) Smith, brother Michael Smith.
