Randee S. Kuba

Randee S. Kuba, age 64, of Vermilion, passed away unexpectedly from a sudden illness on January 29, 2023.  Randee was born March 25, 1958 in Elyria, Oh. and had been a lifelong Vermilion resident. He graduated from Vermilion High in 1976.  Randee worked for Ohio Edison, Lorain and PolyOne, Avon, retiring in 2020.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, sitting in his chair watching NASCAR, sports, and watching reruns of the Andy Griffith show.  Randee also sure loved his Smokin Joe’s carry-out food.  He enjoyed time spent with family and friends, was a great host to many family gatherings and was quite the grill master.  He most of all loved his children and grandchildren.  Randee loved animals and had numerous, during his lifetime.

Randee will be greatly missed by his children, Danielle Saridakis (Eddie) of Vermilion, Derek Kuba (Sara) of Vermilion; sister, Laurie Turner (Elbert) of Vermilion; brother, Scott Kuba of Riverside, CA; four granddaughters, Madilyn, Nina and Olivia Saridakis, of Vermilion and Harper Kuba of Vermilion; nieces, Ashley Turner of Vermilion, Chloe Kuba Morin and Edin Brudi of California; mother of his children, Kimberly Kuzak; many aunts, uncles, cousins as well as close friends.

Randee is preceded in death by his parents, Larry D. and Darlene M. (nee Towne) Kuba; brother, David L. Kuba; paternal grandparents, Charles and Nina Kuba; and maternal grandparents, George and Virginia Towne.

Randee’s family will hold a memorial service celebrating his life in the spring/summer of 2023. Time and location will be announced. Condolences and special memories of Randee can be shared with his family online at
