Richard A Kile, 85 of Seven Hills, Ohio passed away on June 8, 2022, from complications of congestive heart failure.
Richard was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 29, 1936, however, he was a resident of Seven Hills and Parma for 50 years.
He was preceded in death by Father, Eugene M Kile, and Mother, Merle (Halter) Kile and his wife Susan (Bobka) Kile.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Rebecca L Kile & her husband Howard Grow of Seven Hills OH, and his three brothers Peter A Kile of Rock Creek, OH, William S Kile, of Westlake OH, John D Kile, of Wooster, OH.
He was a graduate of Irondale High School, Class of 1954, Irondale OH, and also an alumnus of OSU from 1954-1955.
Richard served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957 stationed In Germany. He received an Honorable Discharged at the rank of PVT 2. He was an employee of the Cleveland Metro Housing Authority as Security in the 70s & 80s.
Richard was an avid fitness enthusiast and enjoyed bicycling, he could be seen riding through the Cleveland Metro Park systems all summer long. He also enjoyed landscaping and reading books about wilderness survival and anything Rush Limbaugh wrote, along with spy novels, and mysteries. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and a strong supporter of the second amendment. He and Susan also shared a love of travel, they went to Europe and to Maine and Alaska among other more local trips.
Richard will be interred at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery in Brooklyn Heights Ohio alongside his Wife Susan B. Kile on July 14, 2022.
