Richard Mark Coleman, 61, of Brunswick, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Friday, May 18, 2018. He was born May 24, 1956 in Cleveland to the late George and Patricia (Harrold) Coleman.
In his younger years, Rich loved fishing, golfing, playing softball, and sailing with his older brother George. Rich was an avid Cleveland Football fan; he could be found every Sunday cheering on the Browns with his family and friends from any one of his favorite hang-outs. More importantly, Rich was an unrelenting University of Notre Dame fan; he would sport the best sweatshirts, hats, and shirts in honor of them. All the green fabrics and Fighting Irishman figures portrayed perfectly his full-blooded Irish Heritage, which he boasted about regularly. The greatest highlight of his life was his granddaughter Isabella, whom he spent endless days and nights playing with and following in her endeavors.
Rich was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and cherished friend to many; for which he will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife, Kim; children, Ian, Sarah, and Finn (Lana); granddaughter, Isabella; brother, George (Louise); sister, Marty (Ron); and sister, Chris.
All are welcome to celebrate Rich’s life at Bleacher’s Sports Grill at 6855 Ridge Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44129 on Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Please bring photos and stories to share.
