Gary passed away September 22, 2024, in Westlake, OH, age 84. Gary was born in Baltimore, MD and lived in Pittsburgh, PA in early life. His family settled in Northeast Ohio where he proudly lived his whole life.

Gary graduated from John Marshall High School in 1958, where he met his high school sweetheart, Carol, whom he married on July 16, 1960. They had a rich family life together with many adventures throughout the years. Gary was a devoted employee at Pepsi Cola for 34 years, starting as a route helper, performed marketing duties, and was ultimately promoted to the general manager position in various northeast Ohio locations, which he was very proud of. During his retirement, he drove a school bus for North Olmsted, where he took great pleasure in playing Santa Claus for the children. He was a member of the North Olmsted VFW, Post 7647. Gary was a life-long, passionate Cleveland Browns Fan and tailgater, holding season tickets since 1966. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and camping. He was an avid camper, spending over 30 years at Terrace Lakes Campground in Sullivan, OH. Gary was a founding member of the Runners Hot Rod Association, formed in the 1950s with several close friends, where he was known as "Seargent Garcia".
