Robert Emmet Kuntze age 82, passed peacefully into Eternity April 11, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Walls Smith Kuntze, a brother, Larry (Charlene) of Everett, Washington, sons, John (Susan) of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Robert L. of Blackstone, Massachusetts, daughter, Elizabeth (Al) Rogers of Warwick, Rhode Island, stepsons, Steven (Kathy) Smith of Springfield, Ohio, Raymond (Jan) Smith of Eagle, Idaho, stepdaughters, Lori Smith (Ron) Duffy of The Villages, Florida and Lisa (Mike) Smith-Nissen of Apopka, Florida, niece, Renee (Ben) Johnson of Pasco, Washington, eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Emmet and Elizabeth and a sister Betty Jean Hauber.
In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and Robert will be laid to rest with full military honors June 3, 2016 at 3:00 pm in Rose Hill Cemetery, Springfield, Ohio. Condolences and special memories may be shared online at
