Robert Francis Kolis

Robert Francis Kolis, 74, of Parma, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020.

He was born in Cleveland to the late Frank and Helen (nee-Denko) Kolis.

Robert was a 1965 graduate of Valley Forge High School.  He was a millwright at Ford Motor Company for 44 years, retiring in 2009.

He was a U.S Army Veteran and served stateside during the Vietnam War, working as an electronics repairman.

Bob was an avid boater.   He spent many weekends enjoying his boats at Cedar Point marina for over 40 years, and became known to everyone as 2boatbob.   He enjoyed bowling, golfing, and working to restore his 1960 corvette, which he owned since 1969.  He obtained his ham radio operating license when he was 15 years old.  Most of all, he loved spending precious time with his family and friends

Robert is survived by his sons, Steven Francis Kolis and Ryan Thomas Kolis; grandchildren, Steven Richard Kolis, Ryan Vincent Kolis and Sean Thomas Kolis; a brother, Gerald Kolis (Suzanne); and sister, Shirley Gilbride (James).

He was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Belko.

A memorial service will be Friday, November 20, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Church, 23080 Royalton Road Columbia Station, OH 44028.
