Roberta Kay Ridenour

Roberta Kay Ridenour, also known as Kay, from Akron, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on June 25th at the age of eighty-five. She is survived by her husband of 66 years and their children, Steve, Robert, Mike, Laura, and grandchildren Steven, Jesse, Luke, Alicia, Joseph, and Gabriella. Kay was an X-ray technician and supported her husband not only through numerous moves but also changing her employers. Once she became pregnant, she gave up her career to stay home with her children. While her husband traveled out of town for work, she was a boy scout and girl scout leader, volunteering with the PTA and school cafeteria. She was a devout Christian woman who encouraged her children to attend church regularly, was highly active in her church, and volunteered regularly. Kay demonstrated her beliefs through her generous personality that inspired her family. Please join the family on July 11th, 2024, at 5pm for calling hours, and 6pm for the service at Millheim Baptist Church located at 2661 Hayne Road, Akron 44312. Dinner will follow the service.
