Roger D. Fox

Roger D. Fox, age 73, of Massillon passed away peacefully Sunday, August 29, 2021. He was born November 8, 1947, to Marjorie (Roderick) Fox and Dwight V. Fox. Roger graduated from Massillon, Washington High School as a national Merit Scholar in 1965 and was admitted to the Honors College at Kent State University graduating in 1969 with a degree in Fine and Professional Art. He was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and upon graduation he served his country in the United States Army. Roger established a successful advertising agency, Fox Art/Design, Inc. and took pride in his designs which were well respected and can still be recognized throughout this area. He was president of the Board of Trustees of Spring Hill Historic Home and Underground Railroad Site in Massillon for many years. He married his college sweetheart, Jeanne (Nagel) Fox and they had just returned jome from a wonderful weekend at Lakeside Chautauqua celebrating their 52

anniversary on the day of his passing.

He is survived by his wife and two daughters, Christine (Jeffrie) Thornsbury and Victoria (Steven) Lambert and Roger was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Ken Fox and in-laws, William G. Nagel, Grace L. Nagel and brother-in-law, William P. Nagel. Roger found great joy in the love of his wife, daughters and grandchildren, McKenna Thornsbury, Madison Lambert, Avery Grace Lambert and Samuel Lambert. He is survived by his in-laws, Linda (Ken) Fox, Shirley (Bill) Nagel, Carolynne and David Foss and several caring nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A celebration of Life is being held in his Honor.
