Roger Davis

Roger Davis, 71 years old, of Canton, Ohio passed away on August 30, 2024.

He was born in Great Falls, Montana on August 28, 1953, to the late Clarence and Patricia Blair Davis.

He was a longtime employee of the Hoover Company! He was an avid angler winning several tournaments over the years and a lover of the water, which made for fond memories of days on the boat. He took great pride in his many aquariums with a large variety of tropical fish and his abundant vegetable garden that produced more veggies than he could can and give away!

He was a member of the Canton Eagles Club 141 where he loved to share his special chili recipes and cheer on the Browns. He read every old west fiction book he could get his hands on, amassing a huge book collection!

He loved dogs and had 3 wonderful Labrador Retrievers that served as great companions over the years. Amos and Chance preceded him in death and T.J. was his best pup friend til the end.

Roger leaves behind daughter Michelle Davis Boerger and husband Jason, dearly loved granddaughters, Madilynn and Ella, best friend Lindy and husband Kyle, niece Tricia (Kevin) Woodside who helped care for him in his last weeks, and more family scattered across the US.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Daisy “Dolly” Boone, sister Beverly Davis Clem, and brothers Doug and Don.
