Ron Grady, 80, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019. He was born at People’s Hospital (Akron General) in Akron, OH on September 16, 1939.
He lived in Barberton for over 80 years and was well known by everyone as “Ron The Painter”, “Johnny Cash”, “Elvis”, or just “Grady”. Ron truly never met a stranger and would help anyone who asked for it. He loved painting pictures, reading about history, and playing the lottery, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. The way he smiled when his grand kids were around would light up the room. He was a very special man and will be missed by more people than he could have ever imagined.
Preceded in death by his father Andrew, mother Goldie, brother John “Bud” and sister Betty.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Carolyn, his sister Colleen, sister-in-law Patti; daughters Barb, Tami, Wanda, Nicole (Mathew), and Ronica; son Ronald (Tracie); grandchildren, Danielle (Sean), Zachary Johnathan, Ruby, Andrew, Olive, Molly, Shayne, Tanecka, Maranda, James (Hailey) Rylee, Ronica Lee, Billy, Jake, Nakita; great grandchildren Alexis, Landen, Luca, Asher, Jaidyn, Calvin, Travell, Taniea, Trinity, Buddy, Dereon, Miami, Lukas, Jaslyn, Tristan, Annabelle, Gage, Joshua, Ian, Bentley, Alayna, Tanisha, and Abigael; numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends.
