In Loving Memory of Ruth Lewis

Alliance, Ohio - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ruth Lewis, a resident of Alliance, Ohio. Ruth departed this world to be with the Lord on December 10th 2024. Ruth was born to the late Olice Hill. 

Ruth is survived by her sons, Gordon Lewis (spouse: Sara) and Joe Lewis, her cherished grandson Isaac Lewis, her siblings Jeanette Blank (Al Blank) and Terry Hill (Karen Hill) and her many nieces and nephews. We find solace in the memories we shared with Ruth and honor her legacy by spreading love and kindness.

She was happiest when on medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic, where she selflessly served on numerous trips over the course of 10 years. Ruth's compassionate nature led her to participate in opening an orphanage, providing love, shelter, and care to children in need. 

In her travels to the Dominican Republic, Ruth discovered a profound sense of fulfillment and purpose. She radiated joy and happiness when surrounded by the children she cared for.

As we bid farewell to Ruth, let us remember her for the love she shared and, the lives she touched. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to celebrate Ruth's life and honor her memory. Forever in our hearts, Ruth will be dearly missed and fondly remembered. May her soul find eternal peace.
