Sam was the son of the late Samuel F. and Theresa M. Cury; loving brother of Christina R. (the late Phillip) Cooney, Kathleen M. (James) Assad, Theresa M. (Timothy) Kuchynski and Jacqueline C. (Frank) Puliafico; dearest uncle of Matthew, Casey and Kyle Cooney, Mary (Kevin) Assad Risner, Sarah and FrankPuliafico and Eva Kuchnyski; great-uncle of Allison Cooney and Amelia Puliafico.
A private graveside service and burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park, Ohio has taken place.
