Samuel Victor Board age 82 of Alliance, went home to the Lord on April 16
th
2018 at Alliance Community Hospital following an extended illness. He was born September 30
th
1935 in Richmond, VA to the union of Samuel and Amanda (Chewning) Board. Samuel lived in the Alliance area for 65 years and was a graduate of Alliance High School Class of 1956. He was an Army veteran and a member of the Elks Lodge.
He leaves to cherish his memory his brother, Marion (Dora) Board of Alliance and sister, Barbara (Jeffery) McMillan; daughter, Dotty Eyler; grandchildren, Steffy, Keith and Art; and a host of nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.
Samuel was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruth; brother, Valentine; sister, Alfreda; and brother, Arthur.
