Sherry Lee Birchler (Brann)

Sherry Lee Birchler (Brann) returned home to Ohio after 17 years residing in Fort Myers, Florida.   She passed away surrounded by her loving family to join her husband, Porter in eternal rest on June 12,2022.  She was born in Brewster, Ohio on February 14,1943 to Adeline and William Brann.  She was a graduate of Brewster High School and was a stay-at-home mom to her 3 children. Sherry and her husband Porter moved to Fort Myers, Florida in 2004 where they shared their 50th wedding anniversary before Porter’s death in November 2017.

She is survived by her children: Deborah Finney (Chuck), Mary Jo Grozdanich, and Michael Birchler (Anna).  She was “Nina” to 9 grandchildren: Brian and Cara Murray (Zach), Joseph and Matthew Finney, Zach Margazano, Joshua and Matthew Hickman, Emmett and Eero Wallace-Birchler, and 5 great-grandchildren: Kyleigh and Vincenzo Murray, Alexa, Aurora, and Angela Margazano, and Emmett and Brayden Finney.

Her wishes are for no funeral service. She wanted her loved ones to celebrate her life and not mourn her death.  In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to Community Hospice, Truman House, 716 Commercial Avenue SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
