Sinan Li
Sinan Li (44) passed away on December 14th, 2022, after suffering a fatal injury. He was born on February 23rd, 1978, to Yingtan Li and Guoying Shang in China.
On July 7th, 1997, Sinan and Ying started dating in the Nanjing University of Science and Technology in China. On August 7th of 2004, Sinan and Ying were married in Akron, Ohio as both were pursuing their PhDs in Polymer at the University of Akron. After graduating with a PhD in Polymer Engineering, Sinan started his first job at Excel Polymers as a scientist for about 2 years, then joined Lubrizol in 2010 and has worked as a Senior Technology Manager. Sinan was a dedicated scientist, and spent his leisure time rock climbing, biking, weightlifting, skiing, traveling, writing novels, etc. Sinan was a devoted father, husband, son, and friend.
Sinan was survived by Ying Wang (wife), Selina Li (daughter), Alicia Li (daughter), Guoying Shang (mother), and Yingtan Li (father).
