Columbia Station

Stella C. Trujillo (Miley), died peacefully on January 16th, 2025, at the age of 89. While the pain of her loss is immeasurable, we find solace in celebrating the extraordinary life she lived, a life filled with love, laughter, faith, and a spirit that touched countless hearts.

Stella was born in Allegheny County, PA, on June 14th, 1935. Her home in Columbia Station was a true gathering place. It was there, surrounded by loved ones, that countless cherished memories were created – memories that will forever remain etched in our hearts. Those who knew Stella will remember her infectious energy, her quick wit & humor and the mischievous twinkle in her eye. She possessed a generous heart and a personality that enriched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to call her friend or family.

Stella's dedication extended far beyond her family. Her faith was evident in her devoted service as a Deacon at St. Andrews Church (now Christ United Church) in Olmsted Falls. She was deeply grateful for the Deacons who helped her reconnect with her faith, a testament to the strength and support she found within her community. Her passionate support for the Cleveland Guardians (FKA The Cleveland Indians) was yet another reflection of her enthusiastic and spirited nature.

Stella is survived by her family Edie, Audrey, Martha, Abby (Larry), Emmy (Jeff), Harold (Estell), and Roger (Susan); and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She had numerous nieces and nephews who will also deeply cherish her memory. We find comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her husband, Benjamin D. Trujillo, and her son, Don Trujillo.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the compassionate nurses and staff at Thomas P. Perciak Family Residential Hospice and the staff at Heritage Cremation. Their dedication, kindness, respect, and exceptional care during Stella's final days provided immeasurable comfort to her and our family. Their support has been invaluable during this difficult time.

Details regarding a Celebration of Life service will be shared at a later date. Until then, we invite you to share your cherished memories and condolences. Your love and support are a source of strength as we navigate this period of sorrow. Stella's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew & loved her.  Condolences and special memories of Stella can be shared with her family online at www.heritagecremationsociety.com
