Stephen J. Bralek

Stephen J. Bralek, 74 of Akron, Ohio passed away on June 7, 2022. He was born to the late Steve and Helen Bralek. Stephen was a graduate of Hoban high school class of 1965 and a graduate of the University of Akron. He retired from Bridgestone Firestone with 42 years of service. Stephen liked to be called Steve-o when he was with his friends at the Fraternal Order Orioles, First Hungarian Club, Wolf Ledges A.C., life member of the VFW, Sons of the American Legion, St. Paul’s Catholic Church and the Ancient Order of Hibernians.

Stephen is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marilyn; daughters, Cynthia (Bill) Lockhart, Julie (David) Polacheck; Rebecca (Melanie Wilson) Bralek; six brothers and sisters; and the greatest love, his beautiful granddaughter, Elle Norman.

In addition to his parents, Stephen is preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Bralek.
