Susan I. Everhart, age 83, of North Canton and most recently Canal Fulton, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2022. Susan was born in Canton Ohio to the late Harry and Anne Levine. She was a 1956 graduate of Timken Vocational High School (secretarial). She is preceded in death also by her husband, Ronald and son, Stephen.
Susan is survived by her daughter and son in law, Wendy and Bernie Meighen, her sister, Lila Levine, and her six grandchildren: Jeremy, Jack, Zachary, Olivia, Abigail, and Joshua, all of whom she loved with her whole heart. She also enjoyed time spent with her three great grandchildren, Zara, Tilian, and Parker.
Aside from her family, Susan’s greatest accomplishments were her volunteer work with the Pro Football Hall of Fame festival and the Boy Scouts of America, where she earned the prestigious Silver Beaver award. She leaves behind a legacy of beautiful handiwork in her knitting, crocheting and counted cross stitch creations. Susan was also a long-time member of Zion Lutheran Church of North Canton where she served in the choir for many years.
The family would like to thank mom’s aide, Violet, with Absolute Home Health and the caring staff of Aultman’s Compassionate Care Hospice program.
Susan’s life and memory will be celebrated with a private family dinner, there will be no services.
