It is with deep sadness to announce our beloved mother, Teresa (Terry) Annette Dolan (age 65), passed away in her cherished Auburn Township home on November 15th, 2024. She was born in Ravenna, Ohio on January 31st, 1959. She grew up in Deerfield as a young child and in Cuyahoga Falls as a teenager and young woman. She graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1977. Afterwards, she prioritized becoming a devout and selfless homemaker, giving her heart and soul to her children, grandchildren, home, and animals.
In her most recent years, she established a successful housekeeping business, while simultaneously dedicating her time to being the Matriarch of her family. Learning about holistic health and deeper truths, tending to her plants, animals, gardens and passing on her most heartfelt traditions to her loved ones. Embodying her truest, most authentic self.
Terry had a strong passion for flowers and plants being able to effortlessly identify them without a second thought or glance. Aside from her many blue glass antiques and trinkets it brought her such joy to also adorn her home with propagated starts and potted heirlooms. She would decorate her many gardens with beautiful perennials and annuals alike every year. In the warmer months she would sit peacefully on her sun porch in her rocker. Her favorite country music playing breeze coming through the open windows and gracing her wind chimes. In those moments, she would set down her never ending to do list and take in the breathtaking garden of life she had worked so hard to flourish. She was so proud and thankful for her home and all the glorious memories she had with everyone within it.
Her love for plants was met just as equally with her love for animals. Whether it be a baby squirrel that fell from a tree, a chicken from her flock that fell ill. One of our family dogs transitioned into their later years, an abandoned kitten that turned up amidst a stormy day. Terry’s heart and hands were always open to nurture, heal, and care for all of them.
She loved fiercely and protected the innocence of this world with tenacity and altruism. Especially when it came to her family, her animals, her home, or the close world surrounding.
She loved hard, she loved unconditionally, and that was reflected in all the facets of her life.
With never ending wisdom, knowledge, devotion, and love. She wove every fiber of her heart into what mattered to her most - her family.
Terry was preceded in her passing by her son Robert (Robbie) Lee Dolan, her brother Shawn Michael Dunn, her mother and step father, Patricia Ann and Edward Dunn, and father, Robert Lee Kaley. Terry was survived by her four loving children, Torey (Kelly K.) Kaley Dolan, Chase (Kelly D .) Kaley Dolan, Lindsay (Jim B.) Kaley Dolan, and Taeia (Maxwell P.) Kaley Dolan; her grandchildren, Leia Rose Dolan, Joseph Michael Hakes, Trisjin James Kaley Dolan, Jeffrey Tyler Dolan, Brady Lee Hakes, Bailey Reann Dolan, Hayden Cole Brown, Arabella Eve Brown, Oaklynd Maxwell Phillips, and Alynea Sage Phillips; her great grandchild, Sequoia Alease Worthy; her siblings Hollie (John) Bridge, James (Linda) Kaley, Shelly Mines; her many cherished nephews and nieces; and dearest friend, Mary Beck and her children.
