Thomas Downing

Thomas (Tom) Downing 84, passed away peacefully at his daughter’s house January 31, 2025. He was the son of Herman and Betty Downing. Tom was retired from Packard and became an accomplished custom knife maker, known as TW Downing and was recognized world wide for his artistry Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards with his lifelong friend, Mike. He also loved all Ohio sports teams.  Family was everything to Tom. 

He leaves behind daughter, Tracy Ferguson, son, Gary Downing; granddaughters, Desiree Swan (Derek), Kaitlyn Loshak (Andre); grandson, Christian Oelkers; great-grandchildren, Jae and Jax Swan; and brother, Richard Downing (Missy).

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Barbara McLewis and grandson, Luke Downing
