Timothy Jolliff

Timothy Edward Jolliff, age 79 of Massillon, died  peacefully at home following a lengthy illness on May 6, 2023. He was born September 27, 1943 in Wooster, Ohio to the late Ralph and Dorothy (Brown) Jolliff. He had been a resident of Massillon for nearly 70 years. Tim was a graduate of Jackson High School class of 1961 and attended Business College in Indianapolis, Indiana. He also served in the Army, with an Honorable discharge in December 1968 and was a disabled veteran. He loved golf, watching all Cleveland sports and boating on the Ohio River for almost 50 years. He was also an honorary member of the Tigertown Boat and Ski Club and of the Fraternal Eagles Aerie #2370. Tim worked in the IT field for Mohawk Rubber, Eaton Manufacturing, and retired as the IT manager from Diebold, Inc. after 30 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, brother, David Jolliff and three sisters, Donna James, Patty Stayer, and Judy Venosdle.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Barbara (Michael) Jolliff, his daughter, Rochelle (Andrew) Sharp; granddaughter, Emma Sharp all of Las Vegas; and many nieces and nephews.

At his request, he has been cremated. No calling hours or showing will be held and a celebration of his life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the American Heart Association in his name.
