Timothy Joseph Moneskey, 58, of Akron, Ohio passed away on October 11, 2022 in his home surrounded by his friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his 2 brothers, and his sweet puppy, Scooter (aka: Scoot Scoot).
Tim was born in Akron on July 25,1964 and spent most of his life working in the gas and oil industry. He was a graduate of Springfield High School class of 1983, where he studied auto mechanics. He loved boating and spending time at the Ohio River, where he camped with his friends and family. He played golf on a weekly league and enjoyed the company of his golfing partners. He loved spending time with all his friends.
Tim was kind-hearted and always willing to lend a hand. He never met a stranger and helped so many people in various ways. He spent several years taking care of his Dad (Joey) to ensure he had the best care ever. He was a true friend to many.
We will miss our daily morning calls and hearing his sarcastic one-liners. We loved and cherished every minute we were blessed to spend with Tim. He leaves behind a huge hole in the lives of his beloved friends. Though we are devastated by our loss, we have comfort knowing that he is finally at peace.
In the final words of Tim, “Howskey Dooskey, the name’s Moneskey”.
Tim was cremated and will be buried at Holy Cross Cemetery on the corner of Waterloo and Main St. Graveside service will be held at plot #1004 on Saturday, October 29 at 10:00 am. Luncheon to follow service at the Turkeyfoot Sportsman Club, 4551 Dustys Rd, Akron, OH 44319.
