Twila was a graduate from Dover High School in 1968, where she was a member of the band, a majorette, and a lifelong supporter of the Dover Tornadoes. She had received a bachelor's degree in Nursing from Kent State Tuscarawas. Twila started her career as a nurse at Timken Mercy Hospital and continued her career at Union Hospital, Hennis Care Center, and New Dawn Healthcare. Once retired, she enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren, including helping her granddaughter at her restaurant Rosalie’s. She also enjoyed the art of music where she played a wide range of instruments, and listened to her favorite artist, Elvis. Twila enjoyed working in her flower gardens and going on walks.

As she walks through the glorious gates of heaven to meet her lord, she will forever be at peace and in the arms of our father Jesus Christ. With all our love she will be deeply missed, celebrated daily, and forever carried within our hearts. A family graveside service will be performed followed by a celebration of life at Rosalie's with her family.  Condolences and special memories of Twila can be shared with her family online at www.heritagecremationsociety.com
