Vicki Jacobsen

On November 5, 2023 Vicki Lynn (Smith) Jacobsen, age 70 from East Canton, unexpectedly went to be with her Father in heaven. Vicki was born on October 1, 1953 in Canton, Ohio to Vivian and the late Kenneth Smith. She was a 1972 East Canton High School graduate. She worked as a bookkeeper/accountant for many years and medically retired from General Body and Towing.

Vicki enjoyed working on her flower beds, crafting, cooking and sitting on the beach. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved the mass confusion that ensued when everyone was together. She bragged about her family to anyone who would listen as she loved to talk and tell stories and laugh.

Vicki will be tremendously missed by all those that she has left behind. Our hearts are broken by this unexpected loss. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Jack Smith; her loving children and spouses, Heidi (Daniel) Patterson, Heather (Rob) Collins, Jake (Emily) Jacobsen, Chelsie (Mike) Wheeler, stepdaughter Megan (Clint) Pugh; 13 grandchildren, Brandon, Taylor, Zoe, Emma, Creed, Stone, Drake, Avery, Callie, Knox, Ellison, Evie and Taden; 3 great-grandchildren, Braxton, Braylee and Crue. She is also survived by her mother, Vivian Smith and her siblings and spouses, Debbie (Tony) Salvino, Cindy (Tim) Smith, Kenny (Julie) Smith, Sherri (Rob) Dugan and numerous nieces and nephews.

Vicki’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 2pm at Heritage Cremation Society in Louisville, Ohio. Condolences and memories may be shared online at www.heritagecremationsociety.com
