Victor R. Bates 74 of Canton passed away February 27, 2024 at Mercy Hospital. Victor was born in Caldwell, Ohio on September 24, 1949.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Myron and Alberta Bates; brothers, Larry Bates, Jim Bates and sister, Carol Bates Gibson.

He is survived by his son, Adam Bates; grandchildren, Braden Bates, Greyson Bates and Kaitlyn and Kayla Hintz, Noah Mahaffey and Page Mahaffey; brother, David (Veronica) Bates; and ex wife Debbi Bates.
