Wendy Ann (Sutton) McElroy, 51, passed away peacefully on September 3

, 2016 after her near 2-year battle with cancer.

Wendy was born on November 22

nd

, 1964 in Canton, Ohio, and graduated from Canton South High School in 1983. Wendy spent much of her adult life as a stay at home mother to her children. She also served as a volunteer Cub Scout Leader and Sunday school helper.

Wendy is survived by her children, Jessica Bennett, Casey and Colin McElroy; granddaughter Jordyn Bennett; sisters Violet Slagle and Doris Halpin; and, brother, Mark Stead.

She is preceded in death by her parents Nelson and Fran Sutton and, sister, Darlene Lucas.

Calling hours will be held on October 8
