William (Bill) C. Johnston

William (Bill) C. Johnston passed away Friday, February 14, after a long battle with several illnesses. He was born April 12, 1939, to the late Virginia and Harold Johnston, in New Comerstown Ohio. Bill retired from Southbend Medical Center and went on to work at Case Farms for many years. He was an avid sports fan and his passion for golf lead to him having a hole in one, at the age of 70 years old.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Virginia, and his brother Tim.

He is survived by his wife Marylou; children, Dana, Tracy, Scott, and Todd; stepchildren, Craig, Kim, Kelly, and Steven; as well as numerous grandchildren. As per Bill’s wishes, cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be he held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to the charity of your choice.

Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, March 1, 2020, from  2-4 p.m., at Palombo’s Italian Restaurant 4100 Portage St. NW., North Canton, Ohio 44720
