William Franklin Cleveland, 79, of Dennison, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2025, at Aultman Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, after a period of declining health. Born on May 3, 1945, he was the son of Evelyn (Cleveland) Avery and Joe Avery. 

Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He spent his career as a long-haul truck driver, working for several local trucking companies before retiring. An avid Ohio State Buckeyes Football and Cleveland Guardians fan, he also cherished traveling to Maryland to spend time with his daughter and grandsons.

He is survived by his loving wife, Louise (Roth) Cleveland, of the home; daughter, Carolee Gant, of Maryland; grandsons, Corey West and Ryan Preval, both of Maryland; brother Grover (Susie) Avery of Dover; sister, Lynn Avery, of Bedford Heights; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Connie Roth. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Robert Avery; two nieces, Khadijah (Stacy) and Samantha; his father and mother-in-law, John and Anna Mae McCloud; and his brothers-in-law, Carl Roth and Linn Roth.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no public visitation or service.
