William J Ramsey

William James Ramsey, 94, went home to be with the Lord September 20, 2024.

Preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Annabelle (Timblin) Ramsey; his wife of 63 years, Dorothy (Flaker) Ramsey; grandson, Phillip Ramsey and daughter-in-law, Debra (Davis) Ramsey.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Starcher Ramsey; sons, William (Margaret) Ramsey, Robert Ramsey; daughter, Lori (Mike) Niver; stepdaughter, Rachel (Dwight) Barnett; grandchildren, David (Eleanore) Ramsey, Alan (Lauren) Ramsey, Rob (Bernadette) Ramsey, Jennifer (Daryl) Stevenson and Jessica (Matt) Laird; 11 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 18th at 11:00 AM at Goss Memorial Church, 2247 11th St. SW, Akron, Ohio, 44314, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Please enter the parking lot off 10th Street. Reverend Kevin Burkholder officiating.
