Yvonne M. Gintling passed away September 17, 2019 at the age of 84. She was born in Akron, Ohio June 15, 1935, to Paul and Margaret Henley. She was a graduate of Our Lady of The Elms High School class of 1954. Yvonne married Ed Gintling of Akron, OH August 3rd, 1968. Then moved to Canton, Ohio to become the owners of Shady Knoll Mobile Home Park. They retired and moved to Port Charlotte, Florida in 1994. They lived there till 2002 when they came out of retirement and purchased Green Acres Mobile Home Park. They enjoyed several years managing the park and finally moved back to Port Charlotte. Yvonne and her husband were collectors of all types of antiques. She loved to paint, dance, play darts and camp. She was a member of Avnet’s Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion.
Yvonne is preceded in death by her husband, Ed Gintling.
Yvonne is survived by her two children, Ed H. Gintling of Canton, Ohio and Renee M. (Chriss) Skellett; three grandchildren, Tommy, Haden and Taylor Skellett; sister’s, Juanita Henley, Patricia Heaton and Marilyn Guinter; brother, Richard Henley and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday, September 26th at 10:00 am at Queen Of Heaven Catholic Church, with a luncheon to follow.
